The Citizen radio room clocks are ship clocks with classical design and clock faces with green and red radio sectors made for use by the radio operator and captain in the radio room and bridge respectively. These colours indicate the period of time in which only emergency calls are allowed to be made via radio communication and all other radio traffic must stop.
The radio sectors from minutes 1 to 3 and 31 to 33 are marked in green and indicates the time of radio telegraphy, while the red sector, minutes 16 to 18 and 46 to 48, stands for morse communication.
These clocks were originally slave clocks which were tied to the ships central clock and were always correct even when switching time zones. This reduced the need for manual labour to switch every clock on the entire ship every time the ship moved to a different time zone. We have converted these to run on a reliable AA battery powered quartz mechanism.
Based in Nishitokyo, Tokyo, Japan, Citizen are a maker of premium watches and timepieces. Initially the brand was developed in Switzerland in 1918, but Swiss and Japanese investors built it into the company it is today in 1930. A brand built from Swiss elegance and Japanese technological genius was always sure to produce excellent products.
These clocks come with many options, with: 2 colours ( original paint green and polished), 2 face designs ( red with green arc and full red and green ) and 2 sizes ( standard and tall ).

Returns
We take everycare to ensure that your marine salvage comes to you in the same excellent condition we expect ourselves. Antiques come with character and with that dents and scratches are normal. However, if for some reason your product is not as expected then we are determined to help you find a replacement or return. We will accept returns under the following conditions: I) The goods are returned in the same condition as they were sent. II) We receive email notification of your intention to return the goods within 14 days of their arrival (hello@seashipsalvage.com) and the goods are returned within 30 days of receipt of purchase. If you wish to cancel your order before delivery, please contact us either by email or phone.If you are returning a product because it’s faulty, we will refund you the price of the goods in full (including any delivery charges) and arrange collection and return to ourselves. III) The items returned are well packed, preferably in their original packaging. IV) The buyer pays in full for the reurnt. Any loss or breakages will be your responsibility and will result in the refund being void. So please obtain the appropriate insurance with your chosen courier when returning the item(s). V) The buyer has not made any modification to the product in any manner
